Saturday 13th March 2021: Rest assured, we have resumed our supermarket collections from the drop-off points.
Please take note to the items, both “Needed” and “Not Needed” listed below. We have plenty of certain items and lack storage room for more!
Please donate wisely, not habitually!
Please supply us based on our “Needed” list; nothing else until we say otherwise!
We pack for our clients based on a fixed list of ingredients; these items we know fit into the boxes we use and provide "fully nutritious balanced menu". Anything else, is a waste of your resources and our efforts to be able to feed more, more quickly.
We need your cooperation, please.
We provide food for infants, female sanitary products, dietary requirements and pets, but we Do Not Have a Need for more right now!
Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital in our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food. Aside from experiencing vastly increased demands through our voucher system, this increased further with COVID 19. Public and Corporate Groups continue with their generous donations. We are well placed to cope with our need, so “thank you on behalf of our clients”.
Our list of collection point locations will be repopulated gradually, so please refer here first, and if you want to contribute, please Only provide what we show in The Dymamic Shopping List, it changes in accord with our expressed need and your response; or consider a monetary contribution instead!
We Do Not Need any items listed on the Lower Second List.
Note: Not following our need is to waste your expenditure and our resources.
Thank you sincerely for what you’ve done already.
We’d also like to you to help us play our part in providing healthier nourishment to our clients; when purchasing food, please be minded to direct your choices toward low sugar, low salt, low fat and particularly, please avoid chocolate flavoured cereals and the like.
Do Not Provide us with Chickpeas, Kidney Beans, Butter Beans etc., we receive plenty on a regular basis, thank you.
Remain aware that the opening and timing of our collection points may be affected further by the Covid 19 (Coronavirus) Outbreak, so check with them beforehand, please:

With your donations we promise to use them to help to people in food poverty. Occasionally we send food to other FoodBanks to support their work, particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people, wherever in the UK they are.
Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.
